Doug Black

Doug Black is a commercial real estate advisor specializing in office leasing, manufactured home communities, and apartments complexes in the Utah County Market. He focuses on tenant and landlord representation with particular insight into the Utah Valley. He helps businesses, investors, and property owners identify opportunities that support long-term growth and value. He focuses on understanding each client’s goals and delivering market insights that lead to informed decisions. With strong commitment to responsiveness, market research, and strategic negotiation, he aims to simplify the leasing, acquisition, and disposition process. His approach centers on building long term relationships and proving consistent value through every stage of a transaction. Before entering commercial real estate, he spent 15 years in property management of Manufactured Home Communities and large apartment complexes. He personally oversaw over 3,800 doors in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, New Mexico, Utah, Texas, and Wyoming. Doug was an Owner/Operator of 8 communities and has extensive experience with acquisitions, financing, and working closely with underwriters. In addition to increasing occupancy, maintaining low delinquency, and increasing NOI, his problem solving skills with tenants, municipalities, onsite management, and Vendors helped create significant value add and communities that residents are proud to call home. Doug earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and minored in Business from Brigham Young University. He completed the Program for Leadership Development, Launching New Ventures, and foundations of private equity and venture capital at Harvard Business School where attained his Alumni status. He and his wife Tiffany have been married for 21 years with four children.
